Rich Homeless Guy

Bud Man and I were stopped at a red light. There was a homeless guy on the side of the street with a sign asking for money. I was feeling especially blessed so I told Bud Man to give him a dollar.......(I said I felt blessed not rich!!)
As Bud Man reached for his wallet he says to me with exasperation in his voice
"I'll give him a dollar but you know he probably makes more money then I do ."
"REALLY?!! Well don't your parents feel foolish for spending thousands of dollars on your collage education? Oh and by the way I'll make a sign for you tonight , I think I just found you a second job!!!"

Well it is good to know if I were to move down there I could make money and get my skin cancer at the same time. I am thinking the beach would be the PRIME spot to set myself up.

Will you make a sign for Dustin, too?

Tweedledee and Tweedledum should have no problem making enough money for cheerleading.......or a cruise.......or some jet skis.....
or.....

That's it! A way to make additional money to pay for Competition Cheerleading!! What a great idea! My husband will be thrilled to know it's that easy. I bet I can even get Cheerleader Girl to make him a sign :)

I don't like to give them money. I'll buy them a meal.

My son lives in Austin and he says those people who sell flowers and beg for money on the streets all work for the same outfit. At the end of the day, he's seen them get picked up in a limo and they are paid well. They live on the streets because they are drug addicts and drunks. I never give them a red cent.

Gretch---Sounds Good

Mrs.Snooty---Wow no silver lining in that statement.

At our church we each were given $100 to share with someone in need. My friend stopped a homeless guy going into a liquor store and gave him the money. I am still confused by that one.

I don't mean to judge, but those people scare me! We had a guy come up and spit on our windshield one time - driver's side. He then proceeded to "clean" it with the sleeve of his shirt. How gross is that??? I just try to avoid making eye contact!!!

I saw an article once on a guy and that was what he 'did' for a living. Made REALLY good money at it, too!!

There was a great show on Oprah about a homeless guy getting $100,000 and he blew it all so in a very short time. Hhe felt like being homeless was his destiny. It made me feel very sad.

I'm with your husband. There are jobs...they might not pay as well as panhandling, but they are there.

LOL!!! I want you to have the desk...thought that might happen a couple of years ago (when June died) now looks like we have to wait a little longer.

Bad things can happen to good people and yes, they're probably drug addicts or drunks, but seriously, what's a dollar? It's hard for drunks to get a job ya' know and some people aren't strong enough to fight their demons. One time I gave a guy that was pretty darn ugly and shaking five dollars. I thought for sure he was going to get some liquor or something, but when I was coming back he was crossing the street with a fast food hamburger meal. I thought I didn't care, but it did make me feel better.

Love your blog. You're good crazy.

Да уж. По поводу коментариев - навеяла на меня где-то услышанная фраза:
Это мы языком Пушкина и Достоевского описываем титьки Памелы Андерсон и попу Дженифер Лопес.
